Dunvant boys do the Raj Put Thursday 5th October was the first outing of the gutsy Gospel curry consumers?!? The first Thursday of every month was set out as being a lads curry night and our first stop on our tour of Swansea curry houses was the Raj Put on Castle Street in town. A high turn out was promised for this maiden sitting, 20 people had confirmed an interest in coming, but when it came to the crunch only 10 turned up and one of those had already eaten! The food itself was very tasty and liked by everyone who indulged. Most of us stuck to what we knew, going for the Korma or Tikka Massala, but there were a few exceptions like Phil Burton going for a Chicken Chat which was a tricky one to pronounce in a Christian manner and Jason going for dishes I cant even spell. Although there was quite a poor attendance on the night
we will certainly be doing it again on the first Thursday of next month. If anyone has any suggestions on where to go then
e-mail me, the curry house has to be in the Swansea area! |
